My Journey

Every meaningful journey has an equally interesting beginning. Mine began with just $250 and a love for interior design and styling.

As businesses were closing during COVID 2019 my journey started with FN House & Home, built around pre-loved decor pieces I had collected over years. I opened my first little space inside a local furniture store, exchanging my design skills for rent and helping store customers choose furniture and decor items for their homes.

Whilst still in lock down I went on to study building and construction, so I could better understand why contractors declined design ideas I was drafting for clients’ renovations. I completed my qualifications in 2020, strengthening my understanding of the relationship between design, functionality and construction. This knowledge continues to shape the way I approach every project today, allowing me to look beyond the finished room and consider the finer details that make a space work as beautifully as it looks.

As my clients expanded so did my collections, no longer from pre loved locations but from well-known suppliers around Australia. Eighteen months later, a new chapter in my journey began as I opened my own store, and Décor Central was born.

What happened next was something I will always be grateful for. Customers travelled for hours from regional areas, and some even flew interstate just to stop my unique collections.

Six years on, I am incredibly proud to introduce the next chapter in my journey with Designer Living – Furniture & Decor.

With a renewed vision and a new business partnership, Designer Living – Furniture & Decor presents a thoughtfully curated collection of luxury furniture and distinctive designer decor, sourced from over 160 suppliers. Each piece is hand-selected to reflect our appreciation for quality, style and individuality, bringing together exceptional designs that elevate interiors and transform spaces into sophisticated, timeless expressions of luxury living.
